Happy New Year to all! Just saw in the New Year, I was quite tired so only stayed up long enough to wish hubby a Happy New Year and then crawled into bed. We went around to a friends house to celebrate because today is the hottest day of the year and we don't have air conditioning, we needed to get out of the heat. They have a pool so we put the kids, my 3yo and her 3yo and 1yo in but not for long as my daughter had an accident in her pants not long after we got there so we had to clean out the pool.

Didn't do much just played a couple of board games and had a few drinks. Left their place around 10.30pm so I could give my 4 month old her bottle. Then we watched the fire works on T.V and the countdown to New Years. Another year over and a New one just begun. My New years resolution is to lose some weight, I started my diet yesterday which is a stupid thing to do as my friend had chips and dip on offer which I found hard to say no to. Oh well, I'll just start again today.

Just found out that a good friend is in hospital, had an operation last night, hopefully all went well, haven't spoken to his wife yet so not sure what the problem is, he woke up coughing blood and he's in his seventies so I'm crossing my fingers that he only has an ulcer.

Toilet training is the worse thing I've ever had to do, my 3yo is wee trained but I can't get her to do poos in the toilet, not sure why but she seems scared. I spent 2 hours last night trying to get her to go because I knew that she wanted to but I gave up and put a nappy on her and half an hour later she went in her nappy and it went everywhere, all over her feet and her bed, had to chuck her in the bath. Not happy about doing that at 9.30pm. Oh well, it can only get better.

Merry Christmas to all that are celebrating today, I had my christmas yesterday and it was wonderful, christmas really is about family and kids and love.

Monday 24th December

Just looking at my post from yesterday I realised that I dated it Sunday but it was dated from this site as Saturday which is true in some parts of the world. I'm in Australia so that's why there is a difference in days so there you go......you can read how my Christmas went before you even celebrate it, how cool is that?

Went to the in-laws for Christmas tea because we're going to my parents on Christmas day, my mother always said, "If you can't say anything nice about someone then don't say anything at all" So on that note, I will finish up by saying, "Merry Christmas" to all.

2 days until christmas, my first with my second child who is only 4 months old, my oldest is 3 and I'm excited as this is the first christmas she really understands what is going on and knows that she has to open the presents. Last year she got excited with the pretty paper not knowing there was something better inside. Should have just wrapped up an empty box, she would have been just as happy....lol.

We've gone a bit mad this year, had a sale on at a local factory, toys for half price so I spent double what I probably would have spent if I had have gone to the local shopping centre, but I suppose I do have a little extra to spend on chrissie this year as I'm on maternity leave and cashed in my holidays and also received a very nice bonus, make the most of the money while I have it, might be broke this time next year. Also spending some money on myself, getting 4 veneers on my top front 4 teeth, broke one of them as a child and as a result they are all looking worse for wear, it'll cost a bit but I've waited 26 years, it'll be worth it.
